The light dimmers are easy to install; in fact no additional wiring is required if a ClickOn dimmer replaces a normal light switch. The dimmers are microprocessor controlled and contain built-in radio receivers. Each dimmer unit can memorise between 12 and 24 different remote controls or remote control channels (dimmer dependant)in order to cater for multiple residents and/or the simultaneous control of different dimmers from a single channel on a remote control.
The wallbox transmitters contain the same technology as the remote controls but are packaged to fit standard 2X4 wallboxes. They are currently available in 1, 2 and 3 button configurations. A wide range of applications are possible with this product. Multi-way switching can now be achieved by simply installing a ClickOn light dimmer or power switch as a master switch and installing between 12 and 24 wallbox transmitters in any location up to 30 meters away from the master switch. No wiring between the wallbox transmitters and the master switch is required.
The remote controlled power switch is designed for high wattage applications. It is rated for 2000W inductive and resistive loads. A popular application is the remote control of lights at business properties, be it fluorescent lighting or security floodlights. A remote control can also be supplied to a Security Company attending the property.
The code hopping gate receiver is compatible with all popular gate and garage door motors on the market. It is a widely known fact that fixed code systems do not comply with the high security standards demanded by conditions in South Africa today. Because it has three modes of operation, other applications for this receiver are arming and disarming alarm systems, reception of panic codes and driving striker units for doors and security gates. The installation and programming procedure is very simple and no dip-switch setting is required.
All ClickOn remote controls are code hopping radio transmitters packaged in elegant yet very robust poly-carbonate housings.
Despite the power and flexibility of the system, installation and programming is a breeze. The modularity of the system allows you to start with a basic system and expand it into a full blown Home Automation System.
